Scientific Activity

The Main Directions of Scientific Research

1) Reconstruction of jaw bone deformations and defects applying bone-matrix grafts

2) The development and operation of new biological membranen in clinic practice

3) Development of new combination ointments made of propolis and beeswax for tissue regeneration activation of wounds and burns, that are difficult to heal

4) Development of new surgical methods of facial bone injury and defect restoration, caused by different reasons

Most of the new methods of diagnosis and treatment, developed by Yu. M. Poghosya, currently are widely used in the practice of various maxillofacial departments, dental polyclinics, as well as at various clinics abroad.

Author of 1 monograph, 1 textbook, 26 manuals and methodological guidelines, 243 articles, 54 inventions, 21 innovational suggestions.

Supervised 15 PhD and 2 Doctoral theses.
